One, Two…Tree!
August 15th, 2008Topiary, the art of cutting trees, bushes and hedges into ornamental shapes, dates back to ancient times. Topiary trees cut into balls, cones and pyramids became particularly fashionable during the 17th century due to their symmetrical profile. It was the Victorians however, who developed topiary and created more unusual shapes such as animals and birds.
The Dolls House Emporium has a wide variety of topiary trees in all shapes and sizes, a matched pair either side of the front door gives instant ‘kerb appeal’ to any dolls’ house, and is an easy and effective way to add style and grace to your mini dream home.
