Exquisite Miniatures
February 17th, 2009We came across this lady whilst browsing you tube for miniatures. Vicky Guile works mainly in polymer clay to create exquisitely detailed and intricate food items which are available to purchase through her etsy website. Whilst the pieces may not be cheap, the quality and dedication put into each one is clear to see. Vicky also has a youtube site which is where we saw her ‘macabre’ miniatures, our particular favourites include the ‘gruesome counter’ – have a look underneath -eww!!

I would just like to say a very big thank you to the DHE blogger for featuring me here and or the wonderful compliments on my work.
The “gruesome counter” in my youtube video was inspired by the story of Sweeney Todd and is my interpretation of Mrs Lovett’s Meat Pie Emporium prep counter. It was so much fun to make and the feedback that I have recieved on it have been fantastic.
