Auction Update!

May 28th, 2009

Two weeks ago we commented on the phenomenal prices projected for two dolls’ houses being sold via Bonhams in Knightsbridge.

We’ve now been able to find out how much they actually sold for. Are you sitting down to read this?! If you check the Bonhams sales page and check lot 80 you’ll see that the one originally forecast to sell at £6,000 to £8,000 actually went for  over £11,000! It looks as though the other dolls’ house didn’t sell, there’s no mention of it in the sale pages so maybe £25,000 was a little too much to hope for.
