A truly inspiring wedding present!
July 6th, 2010Inspired by our “Design a Wedding Dress” competition, Janice Curtis decided to create a very unique keepsake to give to her daughter on her wedding day.
Before the big day, Janice locked herself away behind closed doors and beavered away building her gift. The result is this stunning miniature bedroom. It is the perfect preparation room for the bride-to-be – from the full length mirrored wardrobe and dressing table, to the beautiful bouquet and white lace veil!
The piéce de résistance of the room is the perfect 1:12th replica of her daughter’s wedding dress – which is why Janice had to build the room far away from prying eyes! The beautiful white satin dress comes complete with silver beading around the neckline and down the back of the skirt, together with a stunning pair of sparkling white shoes, perfect for her daughter’s walk down the aisle!
As you will see from the pictures, Janice’s daughter absolutely loved her present – as did all of the other wedding guests!
