Let in the light!

October 18th, 2010

The winter nights are now starting to draw in, so here at The Dolls House Emporium our thoughts are turning to how we can bring a little light back in to our lives – especially in to the tiniest of corners!

A dolls’ house can be transformed into a cosy cottage, an elegant abode, or an atmospheric dwelling, simply with carefully chosen and placed lights.  From ceiling and wall lights, to table lamps and standard lights, the choice is endless allowing you to create the perfect home whatever era or style your dolls’ house is.

If you own a gorgeous Georgian three-story town house, why not add a touch of elegance with a head turning crystal chandelier?  If your house is based on the Victorian era you can create an authentic atmosphere with a traditional ‘Tilley’ lamp or charming ‘oil’ lamp.  For an ultra modern look why not try a ‘chrome’ styled, half-domed floor lamp with a directional head to create the ultimate mood lighting?

The new 2010/2011 catalogue from The Dolls House Emporium has a number of brand new lights, as well as it’s usual comprehensive range, from new nursery lamps, complete with a boat stand and blue lampshade, or a pink lampshade with a sheep base, to a Victorian styled ‘gas’ ceiling light with a black ‘metal’ chain.

There is now no excuse for living in the dark – let some light in!
