Celebrate a brilliant Burns Night!

January 23rd, 2011

Bring out your inner Rabbie Burns this month and celebrate the Scottish Bard’s birthday in style.  The 25th January will be commemorated around the world as people gather to pay tribute to Robert Burns’ poetry and songs.  From the traditional supper of haggis and a wee dram of whisky, to the singing of Auld Lang Syne, a Burns Supper is the perfect way to celebrate Burns’ birthday.

Why not celebrate yourself, just on a slightly smaller scale, by decorating your dolls’ house, shop or pub with the colours of the highlands?  Simply buy a square of tartan and cut in to strips to make the perfect tartan garlands.

A decanter and wine glasses, together with the liqueur bottles will make the ideal tipple for your guests, who may include Madeline who is dressed for the occasion in her tartan skirt and scarlet hat – there is even a tartan thermal flask for those that prefer to bring their own whisky to the party!

Have an absolutely brilliant Burns Night – and send us your photos!
