“O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?”

April 12th, 2011

23rd April is the anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death and we thought it would be a fun tribute to recreate a famous scene from one of his many works.  If you’ve been to a production of one of his plays, you’ll know they’re often done in modern dress these days, so the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet could quite easily be staged in the Malibu Beach house.  Perhaps you have some thoughts of your own, say Hamlet encountering the ghost of his father on the battlements of Cumberland Castle or Antony and Cleopatra reclining on sofas in the Garden Pavilion. You’re bound to find lots of inspiration in the Bard’s wondrous words.
