“Outstanding Customer Service Award” for The Dolls House Emporium

ecmod 2011 winnerWe’ve always prided ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and we know from your comments and feedback that you appreciate it too.  So it’s especially thrilling to have our customer service recognised at the prestigious ECMOD (European Catalogue and Mail Order Days) Direct Commerce Awards ceremony.

In the surroundings of the Lancaster London Hotel on Wednesday 6th April 2011, we beat off competition from some of the foremost companies in the catalogue and mail order sector to win the coveted “Outstanding Customer Service Award”.

As our Managing Director, Jackie Lee, says, “It’s a fantastic honour to receive this award, which is a testament to the dedication of all our staff.  Since we began in 1979, the customer has always been at the forefront of everything we do, from the design of our houses and accessories to the layout of our catalogue and website.  No one knows the miniatures market better than our customers and we make sure we listen to every comment and act on that comment if it is within our power.”

Jackie continues: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their support over the past thirty years and would like to ask them to continue sending us their suggestions and comments so we can make The Dolls House Emporium an even better company than it already is.  However, we would not have won this award without the hard work of all our staff and to say thank you we have given them all an extra half day’s holiday – it seems the least we can do.”

  1. I just wanted to add my congratulations to a well-deserved award. Your customer service is the very best I have ever encountered here and in the USA. (I live in both places) It just goes to show it can be done. I wish others would follow your terrific example.

  3. Congratulations keep up the good work with the catalogue, newsletter, shop and design ideas. I love popping into the Ripley shop and bumping into people from all round the country, I only live down the road in Mansfield Woodhouse, so I feel like I’m local.
