A dolls’ house reward for generous sisters

When sisters Lexi and Gabby Moffe in Elmira, New York, baked and sold cookies to help flood victims, they never dreamed they would be rewarded with a dolls’ house custom made for them. 

But that’s exactly what a local man did when he when he read about their good deed in his local newspaper, The Star Gazette.  “I was touched by their giving,” he said.

Martin Nichols has been building dolls’ houses for many years, using scrap wood and hand crafting wooden furniture.  For the sisters he created two of everything inside the dolls’ houses and made sure the pieces were large enough for Barbie dolls.
