Miniatures shop takes starring role in the nationals!

November 17th, 2011

Have you seen the superb photos by Press Association photographer Ben Birchall in today’s Daily Mail?

They’re online already after a visit by Ben to Karon Cunningham’s wonderful shop, Dolls House Miniatures of Bath, which sits proudly in the prime tourist spot on the famous Pulteney Bridge.

She’s also a Dolls House Emporium Stockist, so we were particularly happy for her when we saw the article and superb photographs online today.

Karon tells us: “He only came to see us yesterday so it was quick work getting it published!

“I stock mostly hand-made miniatures, everything from furniture that can cost £500 to £500, down to toys like the Monopoly set which is £12.

“It’s the craftsmanship that fascinates me. Some of the makers have to create their own tools because everything’s so small. The detailing on food often surprises people.”
