Dolls’ house used to promote healthy living

January 24th, 2012

It seems that dolls’ houses are being put to all sorts of uses these days and the latest example is a dolls’ house being used to promote healthy living.

According to a report on the ‘This is Lancashire’ website, an interactive dolls’ house is being taken on a tour of health centres, baby clinics and children’s centres in the region.

The idea is that the house will promote three major health campaigns – Sleep Safe, Smoke Free Homes and Get Me Toasty.

In the words of Jan Hutchinson, Director of Public Health at NHS Bolton and Bolton Council, “the dolls’ house should provide a great visual, interactive description of what the campaigns are trying to convey.”

If you know of any unusual uses of a dolls’ house, then please let us know and we can share it with the rest of our dolls’ house community.
