Sudbury unveils dolls’ houses

February 15th, 2012

The National Trust property, Sudbury Hall in Derbyshire, is renowned for its Museum of Childhood, a permanent exhibition open to all visitors.

However, it also has a trove of other hidden treasures in its museum store, some of which it is unveiling to the public in a new mini exhibition in February.

Among the exhibits they are promising to put on show are some of their dolls’ houses.

So if you’re looking for a chance to glimpse rarely seen items from the Museum’s collection and discover how they collect and care for them, then the mini exhibition runs from 11 February 2012 until June.

It could make a great day out for the kids, especially with half term coming up.

You can find more information about the exhibition and opening days via its National Trust web page.
