Murder in Miniature
April 28th, 2012Dolls’ house enthusiasts can have many occupations but few would be able to emulate the heroine of Margaret Case’s Miniature Mystery series who combines a love of miniatures with solving murder mysteries.
Geraldine Porter is a retired teacher who spends her time making miniatures and becoming embroiled in murder mysteries in her home town of Lincoln Point, California.
Her adventures have now stretched to six books, starting with ‘Murder in Miniature’ which takes place at a dolls’ house and miniature fair.
Every sleuth must have their sidekick and the Watson to Geraldine’s Sherlock Holmes is her 10 year old granddaughter, Maddie.
So if you want to combine a love of dolls’ houses with a good mystery yarn, then author Margaret Case is your woman.
Alternatively, you could create your own miniature murder scene in your dolls’ house and share the results with the rest of the DHE community!
