First ever miniature project makes mum’s dream come true

June 26th, 2012

A desire to create a dream dolls’ house for his mum resulted in a detailed three-storey Tudor building by teenager Will Brown – in his first-ever model project.

The Watford lad took three months to complete the two houses and a castle, a chapel, food market and a graveyarmade, all without the use of kits or instructions.

The idea came about after his mum had regrets over getting rid of her own dolls’ house when she was younger through lack of space.

Will decided to use his art and design skills to start afresh.

There is a fantastic picture of his work in the Watford Observer, as well as details on how he started out using 3d modelling on his computer to kick-start the project.

The newspaper reports how he’s now planning a Tudor style windmill.
