It may seem like it’s tough in business these days – but there’s still strong demand in the world of miniatures.
So much so that John Allen, from Banchory, has set up his own model figure business.
He used to be in health and safety but was always a wargamer hobbyist.
His local newspaper, The Deeside Piper and Herald, says Commando Miniatures concentrates on a specific period, 1950 to 1982 – from the Korean War until the Falklands.
The range of 1/56 scale figures and vehicles was launched at the Salute wargaming exhibition in London last month.
