In the dark on dolls’ house lighting? Don’t be – it’s easy!

July 9th, 2012

Light up your life with FREE lighting when you buy a dolls’ house during July.

You can take our suggested lighting set, which is specially tailored for each house and comes complete with all the wiring and a transformer OR choose your own lighting components up to the value of the set we would have supplied, absolutely free. That price is shown next to the dolls’ house.

It’s so easy to add a touch of sparkle to your new miniature home!

We’ve even put together a video at www.dollshouse.co.uk/video to take you through the process, step by step. Simply click on the Masterclass tab.

Full instructions are always included when you buy your lighting set, and it’s completely safe with the 12v transformers we supply along with the wiring and the lights themselves.

If you’re a beginner, you’ll need to know there are two different methods of installation: Copper Tape gives a smooth, professional finish with flat, self-adhesive copper tape but involves a little soldering, whereas the Socket Strip Method needs a channel for neat wiring but gives more freedom to decide what’s on and off as you set up your miniature home.

The transformers are the key: the number of bulbs you’ll be using dictates the size of transformer required and they all have a circuit-breaker just in case you miscalculate the number of bulbs recommended in the instructions!

If you like our QuickStyle houses, the lighting set will already include the socket strip and channels are in place to lay the wires.

Rest assured – if you buy a lighting kit we know how much copper tape you’ll need, so don’t worry about running out.

And here’s what our customers say:

“The lighting kit you supplied
with the order was of very
good quality and again, the
fitting was a very simple
matter with excellent
instructions.” – Mr P, UK.

“The instructions for the
lighting were so easy to follow
that I have now got the house
lit, decorated and carpeted.”
“Easy to follow instructions
and easy to put together,
especially impressed with the
holes and grooves being there
for the lighting.”
– Mr B, UK, via Feefo.

“The instructions were
excellent, and I knew when
and how to fit the lights and
decorating easily”
“I have just taken delivery of
my Mountfield kit and lighting
set. It is so easy to fit together
and really great quality.”
– Mrs P, UK.
