Locals call for return of town’s dolls’ house

July 23rd, 2012

Residents of a Midlands town are hoping for the return of a historic dolls’ house when shopping area renovations are complete.

The dolls’ house is a Victorian toy which used to to sit in the foyer of the town hall.

But it was moved to Dudley Museum in May as development work got under way.

Dudley councillor Khurshid Ahmed told the Stourbridge News: “Due to the nature of the development, no decision has been taken at this stage on where the dolls house will be permanently located, this will be determined towards the end of the development.”

See what the locals had to say on the matter…

And there’s a picture of the house here.
