Miniature Dickensian Christmas display to visit!

December 2nd, 2012

Six beautiful miniature scenes from A Christmas Carol have gone on show.

Dolls’ house modeller Anne Thomas, from Cumbria, has lent the Cumbrian outlet some of her work in the run-up to Christmas.

Her scenes include Marley’s Ghost, the Ghosts of Christmases past, present and future, and scene-stealers from the famous novel.

Anne describes herself as a “keen amateur” with a great love for all things Victorian – and especially Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

The idea for this set of themes room displays started out as just one – and grew from there.
