Pensioner’s collection of 4,000 miniature items!
March 13th, 2014Have you seen the elderly lady’s collection of miniatures that was featured in the national press recently?
She’s got the lot at her Hampshire home.
But she only lives in a one-bedroom flat so it’s a bit of a squeeze.
Her collection reflects the treasures available from the Dolls House Emporium catalogue, including furniture, accessories and little animals.
We can’t show you the pictures here because they are copyright, but click through here to see what she’s got.
She estimates there are more than 4,000 items in all, including scaled-down artwork resembling Monet and Van Gogh.
“I call them miniatures, because they are not displayed in a dolls house,” she says.
She told the Daily Mail she is willing to give away her entire collection to free up space – and start all over again.
She hopes to give away her collection room by room to museums, libraries or collectors to free up space for more.
