Dream Dolls House and Miniatures Website

September 11th, 2008

Here at The Dolls House Emporium it’s our mission to bring you the best in all things, including an online experience. With this in mind we want to know what you all want from a shopping based website. Now we’re not talking products at this point, more to do with how the service works, what things have you seen elsewhere on other shopping sites such as Amazon or Boden that you think we should be doing too.

But don’t stop there, what social aspects would you like to see on the site? How would you like the forum to be developed? What about the way the forum and blogs look? Would you like a distinct, separate website area for Junior Collectors with different options and applications than the Collectors area? What applications would you like to see in both these areas?

And don’t forget we’d love to hear what you already like about the site too! Which bits work well, which bits do you find easy to use, to state the obvious, if it ‘ain’t broke’ we won’t fix it!

Time to put those thinking caps on, get creative and dream! We promise to treat all suggestions seriously and to look at whether or not they are viable. We’ll also be putting our thinking caps on and giving the old grey cells a good work out. Then it’s time to start putting it all into place, but don’t worry we’re not going to reinvent the site, we’re going to evolve it, meaning that the changes should be little and often rather than a great big, scary (for you and us!), unfamiliar re-launch of the site.

So over the coming months you should start to see small changes filtering through, like our recommended products sections which are now live and coming soon a ratings and reviews section for all products on the website.

We hope you’ll like it.
