Every time I look and buy an item that attracts my view
I know that if I trade with you
The pleasure cannot be increased
My Dolls House folk feel weak at the knees
The fast delivery will never cease
I should like to enter the competition please
To share my joy and total delight
Every item that I need to acquire
Is lovely and surberbly RIGHT.
Thanks for satisfying my desire.

It is great to see the creativity of those individuals that have the imagination to do something original for
the competition. It is easy to criticize, especially when one hasn't submitted an entry! To those who
are not happy with the results - enter next time and stun us all! Best regards to everyone.

Thank you for your comment Jane. The competition entry form does state that you are allowed to ‘adapt, modify and decorate the Toll House in any way you wish.’

All of the entrants, including the winning 3, made significant parts of their Toll Houses themselves. Helen and Elinor Moore made all the books in Cleome’s shop, also creating the roof tiles, stone blocking and flooring by hand. Ingrid Germonprez varnished all her furniture herself, created the corkscrews on the back wall by hand and individually painted all 188 wine bottles which she then re-stuck the labels onto. Finally, Sue Hill created the largest telescope from plumbers drain pipe and the pictures in her observatory from photos of famous astronomers and empty frames.

We hope that this answers your concerns.

I'M NOT SURE WHY THE THIRD PRIZE WINNER QUALIFIES, I UNDERSTOOD THAT THE COMPETITION WAS TO USE AN EXISTING BUILDING BOUGHT FROM YOU. THERE WAS NO INDICATIONS IN THE COMPETION RULES THAT MODIFYING THE BUIPDING WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE. I HAVE ALSO REALISED THAT THE RECENT COMPETITION WINNERS USE MOSTLY BOUGHT MINS RATHER THAN SHOWING THIER CREATIVITY BY MAKING THEIR OWN..IS THAT YOUR PREFERANCE AS YOU SELL THEM??
