7333Yesterday in the blog we recommended a few places for modern miniature inspiration, so we thought it only fair to suggest a few places to get information about the slightly older dolls’ house too.  Try  Sumaiya Mehreen’s blog for something a little more traditional and she also has a blog about her Garfield House, a large and impressive American ‘dollhouse’.

Or what about miniaturedollhouseblog for those who really want something truly old, you can read up on miniatures which appeared in Egyptian tombs and find out how to make bread for your dolls’ house. This blog has a great selection of videos and hints and tips including how to make a stone wall!

Of course, it would be rude not to  mention our own collectors blogs where you can watch the transformation of Eaton Square into Grimmauld Place, the home of Order of the Phoenix in the Harry Potter films and learn about other collectors experiences as they blog on their progress.
