Dolls House Donations

As all good dolls house addicts will know, there comes a time when you start to look round your full size house and have no more room for another project. The kitchen sideboards have miniature shops on them, the spare rooms have shelving built especially to hold a dozen dolls’ houses in various forms, the attic is hording extra ’stuff’ just incase you need it for a project and what was your dining room table is covered in your latest project, the last dinner party was about 3 years ago!

So instead of selling your prize artworks off, to a random stranger through EBay, have you considered donating them to charity? What about a local home for the infirm and elderly? We all know about the benefits of this hobby, how relaxing and creative it can be, maybe your old dolls’ house can bring new life to someone else. It could become the gift that just keeps on giving.
