December is here folks! Panic stations! Got the tinsel? Have you ordered the turkey? Don’t do what one of our colleagues did last year and leave it until the 23rd December and find youself standing on a cold market place late in the afternoon waiting for a man in a van to drop off your Christmas bird! Seriously though, there really isn’t any need to panic, we’ve got it all under control for you.

We just wanted to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We thank you for your continued custom, especially in what has been a very dramatic year for us all. We’re determined not to use the ‘c’ words again, (we mean credit crunch, by the way) , as we want to go into the New Year full of hope for what 2009 will bring.

Enjoy the festivities and do  join us in 2009, as we begin to celebrate our 30th Anniversary.

With one week to go to Christmas it seems that there is still so much to do! Are you feeling a bit frazzled like us or are you all smug and settled with all the presents wrapped and the turkey on order? If like some of us here at The Dolls House Emporium you’re still looking for that last minute gift, or you’ve forgotten to order your loved one the present of their dreams, don’t panic! If you place your order by 4pm on Friday 19th December it will still arrive in time, and with our gift wrap service, you’ll be saved any last minute scrambles.

What if you really enjoy flying by the seat of your pants? You can order up until 4pm on  Monday 22nd and still get your gifts in time, simply upgrade to our next day delivery option for only £1.99 and if you really just do get to midnight on the 24th and realise you’ve missed a present, you can still order an e-gift voucher as it will be emailed direct to the recipient to collect on Christmas Day, just make sure those card details are correct because we’ll be off eating turkey too and won’t be able to pluck your order out of the system if it gets stuck!

Maybe you’d rather come and visit us? Our Ripley store will be open until 4pm on Christmas Eve, and will reopen on the 27th at 10am. Over New Year the shop will be open every day except New Years Day itself. Our Houghton Hall shop is open on Christmas Eve too, closing for Christmas Day and Boxing Day and over New Year, Houghton Hall is closed on New Years Day and on the 2nd January, something to do with the Scots getting an extra day off, how very civilised! Houghton Hall will re-open on the 3rd January at 9.30am.

Our Sales Team will be in the office taking orders every day baring Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day, so you’ll be able to get in on those January sales!
