Bargain Hunt reveals a dolls’ house we used to know!
Wednesday, December 7th, 2011A good spot by one of our eagle-eyed customers, who noticed a familiar friend lurking in the sale room of Bargain Hunt late last week.
Chloe Labbett was watching the show filmed in Anglesey when she saw what looked like a Dolls House Emporium product.
It took some head-scratching at this end but we identified it as a “Traditional”, a model which ceased production more than ten years ago!
It’s nice to see one in such good condition and for her trouble, Chloe wins £50 of Dolls House Emporium gift vouchers.
And here’s a recap on the rules and prizes for when YOU see one of our houses where you wouldn’t expect it.
Please e-mail us at competitionsecretary@dollshouse.com as soon as you can send in a photo of the shop window, your TV screen or whatever – or e-mail a link to the i-player where we can check out your claim.

May The Best House Win? More prizes for readers!
Friday, November 25th, 2011We have another couple of Dolls House Emporium houses to show you, as seen on screen and spotted by our eagle-eyed customers.
The first was on the ITV show May The Best House Win, where the contestant had what we think is a Wentworth Court in her kitchen.
Katie Vince was the first to let us know – and here’s the proof:
She told us: “It was in the first contestant’s house. The dolls’ house was open the whole time but it is quite clearly a Dolls House Emporium house – it looks just like the Wentworth, I could tell by the windows and the stairs.”
We agree Katie, although the windows aren’t quite right, so we suspect it’s a previous incarnation of our current Wentworth.
Then there was another spot from an estate agency website, with this Classical Dolls House nestling in someone’s lounge!
It’s at a house not far from Dolls House HQ, down the road at Belper, in Derbyshire.
Sue Cotter, who found it, says: “I think this is The Classical standing in the background. As with all Dolls House Emporium houses they are unique and very distinctive, plus I have the classical myself so I should know it!”
Katie wins £50 of vouchers to spend at the Dolls House Emporium, while Sue has £25-worth.
