New Queen’s Dolls’ House Collection unveiled!
Friday, March 23rd, 2012The Royal Collection has granted the licence for the reproduction of miniatures from The Queen’s Dolls’ House at Windsor Castle to The Dolls House Emporium.
The Queen’s Dolls’ House Collection means that collectors can now own replicas (pictured above) of exquisite pieces commissioned from the most prestigious artisans and presented to Queen Mary in 1924 for The Queen’s Dolls’ House, which is visited by thousands every year.
Discerning collectors, social history enthusiasts and visitors to this magnificent and world-famous dolls’ house pictured below will be thrilled at the news.
Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, the 1:12 scale dolls’ house stands 8ft 5ins wide, 4ft 8ins deep and 5ft high and features all the comforts required in a stately home of the period, with a few regal extras such as the strong room for the crown jewels.
The Queen’s Bedroom is the first release by The Royal Collection in The Queen’s Dolls’ House series.
