There will be a real treat for miniatures fans tonight when Fiona Bruce goes inside the Queen’s Dolls’ House at Windsor Castle.
Well, not literally, of course! And you don’t have to wait until tonight for a first look.
She’ll be giving a better view than you’d ever get if you went along to the castle itself, as she is given a tour of what’s probably the grandest dolls’ house in the world.
It is part of her new series about the Queen’s official residences, The Queen’s Palaces.
You may have already seen Buckingham Palace featured in the first episode last week. And then next week we get to tour the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The Queen’s Dolls’ House, also known as Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, was built as a gift to Queen Mary and now belongs to her granddaughter… Queen Elizabeth II.
Here’s the trailer to whet your appetite for tonight’s treat.
The dolls’ house is more than 3ft tall and is a tourist attraction in its own right.
Over 1000 British artists and craftsmen worked on the house which boasts a tiny working clock, a library of real books and fully functioning electric and plumbing systems.
The kitchen alone has 2,500 tiny oak sections for the wood-block floor!
Windsor Castle is scheduled for BBC1 at 9pm.
