The design process started in August 2009 when I contacted Elizabeth from ELF Miniatures. I contacted her with my idea of the dream kitchen, she got back to me very quick with an answer, and of course she said yes, but she ask me to make a design of what I would like the layout to be like.
My kitchen is decorated and is just waiting for the skirting and lighting to be put in. I am planning on putting a chimney breast in this room too. I have gone for modern colour scheme of red and white as I want the main feature to stand out and that is an elf kitchen from Elf Miniature . There is also a surprise for this room.
The master bedroom is not quite complete yet but I am making progress! I also had the same wallpaper problem in here but I then decided to use some DHE again. I have also added a chimney breast to this room and I will also be adding a platform at the back and having ELF wardrobes once the kitchen in complete.
I have now nearly completed my dining room, just waiting until after my birthday to get some lights and a new dining table as there was a little accident the other day and two legs have broken off!
I have The Dolls House Emporium Oak Hurst Gardens. So far I have finished the front and one side, along with the roof! I hope to get the extension this month and turn the wasted attic space into a miniature attic.
I have also re-named my house, Alcorn Gardens.
