A magnificent miniature church to help raise much needed money for charity!
Friday, September 3rd, 2010John Trott, of Horsham, had been thinking of building a model church, based on two of his local churches, for a while. As the chairman of the Horsham branch of the MS Society and a sufferer himself, John also thought that he may be able to use the completed model to raise much needed money for the society – and at the beginning of this year, he achieved his goal! Women on a Midnight Memory Walk mission!
Monday, July 5th, 2010Margaret Millar and Christine Pearce from The Dolls House Emporium shop at Houghton Hall have been walking the streets of Carlisle in aid of the Eden Valley Hospice. The pair joined hundreds of women on the Midnight Memory Walk 2010 which raised over £66,000 for the Hospice. (more…)
