Village life in miniature
Thursday, October 20th, 2011Village life in miniature was key to the dolls’ house experience created by Dorothy Langford, from Winterslow, near Salisbury.
She entered the Dolls House Emporium Creative Competition turning her garden pavilion kit into a village hall fund-raiser.
The jumble sale is due to start at 2pm, and judging by the clock on the roof, everything’s about to get into full swing!

Dolls’ house creative competition – more entries online!

We’re putting as many as we can online to share the amazing skill and imagination of miniatures fans across the UK – and to give some inspiration to anyone who might want to have a go for themselves.
Old rubber hair curlers and scraps of foliage from the garden helped bring this dolls’ house summer scene to vivid life, with families enjoying the Royal Wedding down at their local pub.

Gingerbread house looks good enough to eat!
